Friends star Courteney Cox has shared an adorable video on social media proving that talent runs in the family.
The 54-year-old actress who is best known as Monica Geller in Friends shared the video on Instagram on Monday night, which showed 14-year-old Coco Arquette singing on stage with her mum’s fiance’s band Snow Patrol.
The video shows Coco singing on stage with the band’s lead singer Gary Lightbody and coming in with a lovely clear alto voice.
Coco is the only child from Cox’s marriage to actor David Arquette, who she was married to from 1999 to 2010. The couple divorced in 2013.
Cox's current partner and fiance is Irish musician Johnny McDaid, 42, the drummer for Snow Patrol. They announced their engagement on Twitter in 2014.
“I have overwhelming gratitude towards @garysnowpatrol for sharing his time to perform at @chords2cure,” Cox posted on Instagram. “I just love watching Coco and Gary sing together.”
The Instagram account for Chords2Cure, a non-profit music organisation supporting paediatric cancer research posted a photo of Gary and Coco on stage with several teenagers.
Cox was last seen on TV in Cougar Town in 2015, and has kept mostly behind the scenes since the show went off air, focusing on producing. But her role in Friends lives online forever. Cox even re-created the iconic ‘pivot’ scene from the hit sitcom, which she shared on Instagram earlier this month.
